Abstract The problems of the development of gardening in a changing climate. The change of some agronomic traits of varieties of fruit crops under the influence of the negative effects of climate change. Attention is focused on the urgent need for research on a variety of issues related to the prospects of development of the horticultural industry. An important conclusion that should mobilize the genetic potential of local varieties, derived from the theory of cyclical development of nature.
